Mallard Lodge

As you approach the Lodges along the sweeping gravel drive you will fine parking next to your lodge for ease of unloading, the paved footpath leading to steps onto the large decking area with concealed lighting, a rustic picnic table with benches ideal for eating breakfast or enjoying the gas BBQ’s which are available with each lodge.

Kingfisher lodge has a very cosy feel and is ideal for 2 or 4 people. Once you enter through the front door you are greeted with a spacious open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. The lounge has two sumptuous leather sofas, flat screen tv, free sat, dvd player and cd player. A small selection of dvd’s, books and games are also provided. There is an information pack filled with all you need to know about the lodges, the lakes and the local area, such as, great places to eat ( The Recruiting Sergeant at Coltishall is highly recommended) and visit. There is also a Guest book to note your comments and a fishing log to record your catch. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with ice box. The dining area with its pine table and chairs is easily seats four.
The hall, leading off the living area, has a cupboard with the water tank, storage space for vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board etc and the washer/dryer, with access to the bath/shower room and the master bedroom with bedside tables, reading lights, wardrobe, chest of draws with mirror and a hair dryer.
Bedroom number 2 is off the living area and has two single beds.
The mezzanine can be used for storage and is accessed by a pine ladder from the living area.
Good quality is assured throughout including the luxury bedding and towels which are provided. These Lodges have everything you require for a luxury break away whether it is a romantic weekend, a family getaway or a lads fishing trip. If you feel you never want to leave the Lodges are also for sale.
